Anne Hathaway defends outfit | Potter = Richest Mofo in theatres | Boardwalk Empire Trailer | Lopez who?

It's been a very silent week up to now for movie news. Not many things happened, so we'll have to stick with what we have! But first, the weekly episode of FilmState. Watch it. Seriously, you should watch it. I'm just being careful, Audience. you don't want some kind of Final Destination death accident coming to you right? Just warning yah! ;)

Anne Hathaway defends her catsuit

Anne Hathaway has replied the haters whose been hating on  the Catwoman costume in the film The Dark Knight Rises< The first official image of her riding the Bat-pod was released last week and the fans were not as happy with the look of the suit. Hathaway, replying to the fussle the picture has made,  said they shouldn't judge the movie based on early images. "It's disappointing. I think everyone feels a slight frustration with it because those stills so undercut the work that's being done."

“It's Chris Nolan; even the picture that he released of me, that's not everything. That's like a 10th of what the catsuit is. And I've got to say, I find it frustrating and I know he finds it frustrating, but I also think that he's having fun with it, kind of like spooning out secrets. He has a lot more control than you think."

“I mean, honestly, wait till you see this movie. Chris is doing insane things in it. And it's gonna be marvellous and it's gonna be way beyond what anyone imagines that it could be. You can't imagine the things that he's doing, at least I couldn't until I read the script and I was like, 'You're really? Okay, you're going there!'” she said.

Potter Seven Part Two is third biggest-grossing film of all-time

Extended Cut from the most hilarious scène in this epic film

The final chapter of the Harry Potter franchise has earned a total of $1.137 billion globally, bringing it in at third place on the list of highest grossing films of all time.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 shattered the opening weekend record, taking $483.2m worldwide and currently sits behind James Cameron’s Avatar ($2.78 billion) and Titanic ($1.84 billion) in the little under a month that it’s been in cinemas.

Fans are still ker-chinging through the box-office – many for a second or third viewing. ( As I did ;) I'm sorry, Voldemort laughing and moaning was so damn hilarious!)

All the Potter films have been commercial hits, with the second most successful – Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone (2001) – trousering $974.8m in global box-office (over 7 times its budget).
Even the series' lowest performer – Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban (2004) pulled in $796.7m from a budget of around $130m.

  7. Just saw HP7 today and it was actually pretty good.

  8. i can only hope that the catsuit does blow us away.

  9. Catwoman's costume really is horrid, but I kinda expected something bad from that particular director.
On the other hand, I do like Superman's costume and, off course, everybody knows Henry Cavill is my pet actor :)
