Bullhead will soon appear in US theaters
The Oscar nominated film Bullhead/Rundskop will appear in US theaters on 17 February 2012, a few days before the Oscar ceremony. Bullhead won the award for Best Film on several film festivals, thanks to the brilliant acting of Mathias Schoenaerts, who prepared for the role for two years, only eating thousands of chicken breasts, pasta and rice combined with excessive lifting training. He gained 60 pounds of muscle for the role which is truly amazing. Eat that, Christian Bale.
Bullhead tells the story of Belgium’s illegal hormone trade, mixed with an impossible love and a complicated, emotional main character who is on the verge of breaking down. Distributor Drafthouse Films will be opening the Oscar-nominated film on February 17th, 2012 in New York, Los Angeles and Austin. The US trailer is released.
Machete is back for more unnecessary but fun violence
Robert Rodriguez has started to give more information on "Machete Kills", the swordy action sequel for Machete. Danny Trejo is in talks to reprise his role as the badass Mexican with an attitude and it seems that the plot is busted with B-movie trash.
The main character Machete will have to battle a billionaire arms dealer who plans to spread war across the world with a weapon of mass destruction. Sounds like a regular action movie? Not quite, the mega weapon will be located in space. How d'you like them apples?
New The Amazing Spider-man trailer launched
My next words are very opinionish and I would try to exclude my opinion out of these posts but I just have to do this. Sam Raimi's version of Spiderman ( with Tobey Maguire) was so awful I had to murder every spider that I saw after watching the first film. I never liked Spiderman and after watching Raimi's version I had to puke and change my opinion to hatred. When I heard about a reboot, I puked even harder and my opinion didn't change after watching the teaser. It had a whole "Mirror-Edgy" first person feeling and it just didn't feel good.
But Columbia Pictures has released a new trailer containing a completely different Spiderman. Andrew Garfield plays a darker, sexy and laughable character. Spidey has to fight against new villain " The Lizard", a role played by Rhys Ifans. It seems that it's a bit different. This story has nothing to do with the original trilogy as you will notice the tagline "The Untold Story" in the trailer.
Spider-Man,' which stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, will hit theaters on July 3, 2012.
